The K-100D Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) Kit measures the shear strength of soil with a CBR between 0.5-100. This kit has all the components necessary for sustained operation in remote areas. Allows testing up to 6 feet deep or 2 meters depending upon soil conditions.
Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Kit Features:
including a Heavy Duty Drive Rod, strong enough to be used in all soil types. It has 100 disposable cones (Product #K900) and two cone adapters (Product #K800) for fast and easy extraction of the instrument from hard soils and six hardened points (Product #K700/K705-5 pack) for soft soils. This kit also includes a Light Duty 12 inch long Drive Rod (Product #K1312) and 3 Extension Rods for use in relatively weak soils containing no aggregate larger than 2″. The stainless steel dual mass hammer and crush proof Pelican carrying case, with transport wheels, are standard with this kit.
