The Vertical Scale for the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) is 40″ long and has gradations in both English (inches in tenths of inches) and Metric (mm). Recent modifications to the vertical scale allow for increased durability and readability of the reading scales to prevent them from rubbing off and provides a white background for better legiblity. The scale is easy to read and is made of light weight but strong aluminum.
