Description
The K-100 MD DCP Kit measures the shear strength of soil with a CBR between 0.5-100. This kit comes with a 37.75″ Drive Rod (actual penetration depth is 36″,(Product #K133775). This kit is preferred by deployed military units and on jobs where replacement points and adapters are not readily available. The 12” Drive Rod (Product #K1712) with the three 24” Extension Rods (Product #K1724) allow the instrument to be advanced to 6 feet. It comes with 100 Disposable Cones – 4 Pkgs of 25 (Product #4218.9500) and three Cone Adapters (Product #K800) for fast and easy extraction of the instrument from hard soil. Also, the kit includes a stainless steel Dual-Mass Hammer and a crushproof Pelican carrying case (Product #P-1750) with transport wheels.
