Description
The K-100 AD Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) Kit measures the shear strength of soil with a CBR between 0.5-100. This kit is designed to meet military testing requirements for airfields with its 48″ extra strong drive rod (Product #K1348S), made out of spring steel material. It comes with 100 Disposable Cones – 4 Pkgs of 25 (Product #K900) and two Cone Adapters (Product #K800) for fast and easy extraction of the instrument from hard soil. This kit also contains the new and improved 50″ Vertical Scale (Product #K533) with an Upper Attachment (Product #K530) which is designed to hold the top of the Vertical Scale in place on the Drive Rod for the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) and the kit also includes a Vertical Scale Lower Attachment or foot (Product #K510) which is required to be used with the Upper Attachment in order to attach the Vertical Scale to the DCP Drive Rod and make the Vertical Scale hands-free.
